PIGMENTANTS
Consumers frequently associate the color of food with its quality, which is why supplementation with natural pigments is a common practice in animal feeding, mainly in laying hens, broiler chickens, salmonids and crustaceans. The CAPSANTAL range of products allows you to obtain natural the adequate pigmentation of the skin of broiler chickens and of the egg yolk in laying birds, and its use is also frequent in aquaculture.
Astaxanthin
Natural Yellow Pigment
Yellow xanthophyll concentrate, mostly lutein, obtained from the flour of the Marigold flower (Tagetes erecta). High pigmenting power: Homogenized, Saponified (>95% free forms) and Isomerized product → higher proportion of free xanthophylls and trans forms → better absorption and deposition efficiency in the tissues. Stabilized with antioxidant. 24-month warranty in its original packaging (aluminum bag). Fluid final product, with a fine texture and dark yellow color, with a stable content of yellow xanthophylls (from 20 g/kg to 40 g/kg, according to the different product specifications).
Natural Red Pigment
Natural red xanthophyll concentrate, mostly capsanthin, from pepper or paprika (Capsicum annum). Homogenized, Saponified and Stabilized Product with antioxidant. High proportion of trans xanthophylls: Isomerized product → Better absorption and deposition efficiency in tissues. 12-month warranty in its original packaging (aluminum bag). Fluid final product, with a fine texture and red-orange color, with a stable content of red xanthophylls (from 5 g/kg to 20 g/kg, according to the different product specifications).
